Tents for Troops offers active military and their families complimentary
camping from coast to coast, 2 nights-2 sites, through both private and public
campgrounds.
As stated on their website..
As a very small way of saying "Thank You" for all of the hard work and sacrifices men and women in the military make, campgrounds and RV parks around the nation would like to offer free camping for active military. Please visit our camp locations page to find a participating park near where you wish to spend some R & R. required.

director of Joining Forces, sent a letter to Tents for Troops Founder Charlie
Curry commending the organization for stepping up
to support active and reserve military members by arranging for free camping
opportunities.
“As the executive director of Joining Forces, I am pleased
to extend my warmest greetings to park owners across the country,”.
Curry said he has high hopes that many other RV parks will agree to support the Tents for Troops movement and join the network.
