It's Electric!



In Winthrop, WA The Methow Valley News writes that Pine Near RV Park is receiving a new type of traveler, “electric tourists,”.
“Our charger was installed on Sept. 23, and even though this is late in the tourist season, we’ve hosted 22 separate charging sessions as of Nov. 10,” said Kominak of Pine Near RV Park.
Pine Near RV Park has the first electric charging station installed in WA. It helped people traveling in electric cars gain way writes the Methow Valley News. More electric charging stations are scheduled for installation as the need and desire for it spreads.Making the decision to install a charging station at the RV park “was a no-brainer,” said Kominak.


 The Icy Cautionary Tale



A Texas family recount their miracle of being home for Thanksgiving after their truck and 29-foot camper flipped over on an icy overpass just a few days ago.
They were hauling their camper to Oklahoma to attend the Baylor game and tailgate says KENS 5. Temperatures were in the freezing, Jeff Kleck said he thought it was safe to cross the bridge on Interstate 35 in San Anatonio, Texas.
“On the overpass, there was just a little bit of drizzle,” Kleck said. “Enough to accumulate some ice. It was just unforeseen.” Kleck lost control of his vehicle at around 60 miles an hour.
Kleck warned the public on Twitter, in the hopes that other people will drive cautiously in icy weather, reports KENS 5. He’s thankful everyone was wearing a seat belt (The three kids and a friend) Kleck said that he wants to remind everyone not to underestimate their 
safety.


 Jayco Master's Training breaking records!



Jayco Inc. wrapped up its 12th Annual Masters training (Marketing and Skills Training for Excellence in RV Sales) on Wednesday Nov. 20th, now setting a record for the number of attendees with more than 540 participants split between two consecutive weeks of training at its corporate offices in Middlebury, Ind. During the two sessions, sales personnel from Jayco’s dealerships throughout the U.S. and Canada received intensive training on Jayco’s 2014 model year lineup, while getting to see firsthand how Jayco operates and constructs its RVs.

“MASTERS is designed to provide our dealers’ retail sales personnel with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully sell Jayco’s extensive lines of RVs.” said Jim Jacobs, Jayco COO.
 “The positive feedback we continue to receive about the MASTERS program, and the fact that we continue to set records for the number of attendees, makes this training program an important part of our overall selling effort.”

The dealer sales reps attend class led by the regional sales managers, covering all Jayco product lines. Each class revealed important product features and benefits to help retail sales professionals increase sales penetration for their dealership.


“These retail sales representatives are the front line for Jayco and we feel educating them on our products and company through our MASTERS program is essential.” said Jacobs.

  1. Recently started the American dream of owning an RV. Syd Hyder and his staff answered all my questions and much to the surprise of my wife and myself very little pressure. Not like the other dealerships we had been visiting. RV Dealer in Arkansas
